Help us raise much needed funds for the many food pantries and meal programs in Rockland County that already serve 320,000 meals to over 58.000 people in a single month! This number will increase dramatically as of March 1 with the elimination of enahnced SANP (food stamp) benefits granted during COVID. With the high cost of food, this will be devastating to over 40,000 SNAP recipients. As an example, an older adult who had been receiving $283 a month for food will now be reduced to $23 for the entire month!
EVERY $ DONATED WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE ROCKLAND FOOD PANTRIES AND MEAL PROGRAMS TO BUY FOOD.
For every dollar received, these agencies can purchase $8-$10 work of food from the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley.
